Pascal Obispo: this rule of the Star Academy which did not really please the singer

But during his exchange with the candidates, the singer also gave his opinion on the organization of the show. According to him, the Star Academy should allow candidates to choose the pieces they perform. They actually think that this will make them progress further.

“It’s not good not to be able to choose. It’s boring because it’s much better when you’re in tune with what it’s saying,” he said.

Candidates’ opinions

According to Pascal Obispo, a singer must always sing things that correspond to him. Also, he thinks that the Star Academy should abolish your rules which impose on students the pieces they must perform.

According to the singer, the show should be organized so as to give students the choice between several songs.

However, although his arguments seem to hold water, Pascal Obispo has not really convinced. Unlike the singer, the candidates believe that trying new things pushes them to improve. “It’s not always pleasant but I think it’s a good job to do,” Julien said.

Despite his powerful arguments, Pascal Obispo failed to convince the candidates of the Star Academy. Unlike him, they think that trying different musical styles part of the progression.

Thus, the young artists reminded the singer that the Star Academy is above all a school. It is therefore a place where you have to learn music in general and then find a specialty.
