Parvanov helps Boyko crush the BSP –

/View.info/ For almost two decades, Prof. Bozhidar Dimitrov manages the National History Museum.

For the first time, he sat in the chair of the head of NIM in 1994. Due to a conflict with the rulers of the UDF in 1998. is fired. In 2001 was restored after a competition.

He was a member of the National Council of the BSP for three years. He was released from the higher party body in 2005 because he supported the candidacy of Boyko Borisov, not the red Tatiana Doncheva.

Before the parliamentary elections in 2009. leaves the BSP.

For a short time, Bozhidar Dimitrov was a minister without portfolio in the “Borisov” cabinet, after which he returned to his beloved NIM.

He has a doctorate in history. Author of 20 scientific monographs and over 200 studies.

Mr. Dimitrov, a few days ago you said that your employee saw the missing Petko Sertov at the Samuilova fortress near Petrich. Do you know anything more about the fate of the former head of DANS?

– How can I know more? But are they looking for this person for some crime? No. It means that, like any of us, when he gets mad at his wife, he can hang up his hat and go to a cellar. By the way, right next to the village. Kluch, in the vicinity of which is Samuil’s fortress, has a very fine cellar. Why don’t we assume that he is there with some pretty girl, to spend a week or two in peace from wife, children and employers? The scarier thing is that he is not in a ditch like director Zahari Paunov. But it’s gone. Having learned from the Paunov case, they checked all the potholes on the roads. They haven’t found it.

How long do you think Boyko Borisov will tolerate the whims of his partners? A week ago, the Patriots were jumping for deputy ministers, now the Reformers – for changes in pension insurance.

– A person should ask them why they are jumping from the Reform Bloc, when this is the most democratic thing – for everyone to choose their own pension fund. It is undemocratic that I must give 5% of the contribution to a private fund. How am I going to give money to someone to operate with them under the pretext that they will someday pay me a pension. And what is the guarantee that tomorrow, as happened with KTB, my money will not be stolen. So something quite democratic is proposed. And they are now screaming. Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov said it very correctly – parties with 5% cannot dictate the situation. It is not enough that the Reformers have half the ministers, what more do they want?

Before the elections, Boyko Borisov threatened that if he did not have a majority in the parliament, he would not govern. What made him gather in a coalition absolutely incompatible parties?

– At the moment, Bulgaria has no other chance. Can those opposed to this coalition propose an alternative within the 43rd Parliament? They can’t. All they can offer is new elections. But what will they change? We will probably end up with a six-party coalition next time. Currently, there are MPs from 41 parties in the parliament. It’s terrible, total handling.

What is the way out?

– The way out is a new constitution and a presidential republic, preferably on the American model. Whichever party wins by 1 vote forms the government. The state government takes over its president and does not need to comply with other parties. This is the only way to destroy this multi-party debauchery, which brought the country to ungovernability from the so-called called political elite.

Is the ministerial post of Ivaylo Kalfin the price for ABV’s support?

– Boyko Borisov has his goals – to crush the BSP. And it does it very successfully, mostly with the help of ABV. In addition, GERB want to show that they can push left-wing ideas into such a government. Here, they accepted some of Kalfin’s proposals – twice in 2015. the minimum wage will be raised, the years for pensions have also been frozen. Therefore, from now on ABV will displace more and more BSP. This is Parvanov’s goal and he will obviously achieve it.

Some predict the fate of the SDF to the BSP. How do you see the future of the socialist party?

– If things continue like this, in the next elections it is quite possible that ABV will be the recognized left party of the majority of the left electorate. Because BSP is not a left party. Whether they are “old pharaohs” or “young millionaires”, they are still millionaires. Millionaires who own businesses cannot work for the benefit of workers. There is no such case in world history.

– Voices were heard from BSP circles that the party made a mistake by not becoming part of the government.

– He was wrong, of course. What Parvanov is achieving now in terms of social benefits for the people, BSP could have achieved. It had to make, following the example of its fellows in Germany, the so-called grand coalition. With 39 deputies of Mikhail Mikov and 84 of Boyko, they had a complete majority, and Boyko would not be twisted by various small parties.

– Is Mikhail Mikov a better leader than his predecessor Sergey Stanishev?

– In any case, it is the best. That one (Stanishev – b.r.) was very bad in every way – both intellectually and spiritually. And as a leftist he was not at all, although some will argue with me, but they have something else in mind.

– We already have a Ministry of Tourism. Is there a chance for us to develop cultural-historical tourism, for which we do not lack facts, like our Greek and Turkish neighbors?

– Several interesting things are being done, but they are self-organized, in the absence of a general plan for the development of cultural and historical tourism. Municipalities and private individuals organize excavations, then restoration mainly of fortresses, such as there are in their native villages and towns. The small rural fortress of Belchin, for example, had 500,000 visitors in 9 months. 100,000 people have visited Villa “Armira” near Ivaylovgrad in two or three months. Sozopol and Perperikon are also good examples. Therefore, I suggest that the state should focus on objects that the Bulgarians will be really proud of, and we can shake the world as well. First is the Great Basilica in Pliska. It is the largest church in medieval Europe, which is also unique with its stone walls, which at that time did not yet exist in Europe. With it, Boris expressed his claims for turning Bulgaria into a third Rome. The second such place is Trapezitsa. Until Ivan-Asen the Second, the rulers of the Bulgarian state lived in the palace of Trapezitsa. Ivan-Asen replaced it probably because he decided that the place was cursed. The four kings who preceded him – Asen, Peter, Kaloyan, and Boril were killed in this palace. That’s why he decided to move to a clean place in Tsarevets. And the third place is Sozopol with its many features – islands, monasteries, ancient temples, fortress walls, vampires, goblins, relics of saints and ancestors. So if the state throws money into these three centers, there will be prime sites for cultural and historical tourism.
