According to Simeonov, the brightest stage of ITN’s existence is over.
“They will probably keep their positions, but the fall may be free because they have no solid foundation, no structures. People can fall in love with others. I do not see that Slavi Trifonov, Kiril Petkov, Asen Vassilev are a phenomenon of that scale of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and Borisov.
“The huge mistake of the protest parties is that they overestimated the revolutionary desires of the Bulgarians. And it turned out that the Bulgarians give a complex conundrum, which must be solved through dialogue, “Simeonov said.
According to him, President Rumen Radev has now created his own political network and the whole political process revolves around him.
Simeonov also commented on the mood of Bulgarians towards vaccination.
“Society in Bulgaria is divided into people who are related to vaccines and people who do not. There are many people in our country who have immunity from illness. About 2.5 million Bulgarians have had the virus. 1.3 million have completed the vaccination cycle, which means that immunity in our country is not low, and the group that says they will not be vaccinated includes young people and people from more marginalized backgrounds, that is, the part of society that due to social predisposition, it cannot develop a culture of prevention ”.
According to him, the social structure of society determines the problem – a very large stratification, a very large marginalization, and this usually leads to ignorance.
“The consequence is low confidence in the government. But this is a consequence of the way we live. When living in a society of poverty, this causes a constant growl at the system. When this system tells you to get vaccinated, you tell it to look after its work … The more we tell the public that it is stupid, the worse the problem gets. ”
