The timing is striking, thinks Tijs Hardam. Next week he would participate as candidate chairman in the election of a new party board, on Monday he and 32 others received a letter that they are no longer members of the SP. The reason: Hardam is a member of both Red and active for the Marxist Forum. Both have previously been designated by the party as a ‘political party’, and according to the SP statutes it is not possible to be a member of the SP as well.
