A recital of creativity in the last 24 hours on Twitter for the new bill of the Ministry of Culture that has been put into consultation and provides for the mandatory performance of Greek-language songs in public spaces.
The hashtag #Μενδώνη_songs is at the top of the trends with Twitter users posting memes and translating lyrics of favorite English-language songs, in order to… fit into the new reality envisioned by the Ministry of Culture, through the bill.
Among other things, the provisions of the bill highlight the limitation of the performance rate of Greek-language songs in public spaces with music (at least 45% for hotels, shopping centers, casinos and public transport waiting areas).
