In Gusborn in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district, two police officers were injured while breaking up an illegal celebration.
A caller had informed the officers on Sunday night about a party with several people, the police said. On site, the officials met more than 20 celebrants, some of whom fled immediately. According to the information, the police officers were blocked from entering the property. The officers were also pushed and attacked.

After a person was arrested, another guest tried to free him. Because the situation continued to escalate, the officers used pepper spray and asked for reinforcements. When this arrived, the police were able to enter the property and the building with a decision by the public prosecutor and trigger the celebration. Two policemen were slightly injured during the operation and treated in hospital.
