Linz – When you were around 14 years old, did you already have a political opinion? DER STANDARD asked 800 representatively selected young eligible voters this question at the end of February – and received positive feedback from 36 percent. Those interviewed who now profess to be voters of the Neos, Greens and FPÖ express an early interest in politics. It is striking that young people on the border between childhood and youth are more likely to be politically interested in urban settings than in rural areas.
