Party DelightsHannibal Lectures is Britain’s most terrifying horror villain, a new study has revealed.
With 14% of the vote from 2,000 respondents, the Silence of the Lambs star continues to terrorize audiences more than three decades after his most high-profile role. Following closely behind was Freddy Krueger with 12% of the votes, and in third place was Stephen King’s “Pennywise” with 12% of the votes. The rate is 10%.
Commenting on the findings, Sarah Allsop, creative manager at Party Delights, said: “Anthony Hopkin’s chilling performance as Dr Hannibal Lecture terrified audiences three decades later , so he deserves to be high on the list of Britain’s scariest horror characters.
