Parts and Labor Design Transforms New York’s Lupetto Restaurant with Italian Flair

November 13, 2023

In New York, the interior architecture studio Parts and Labor Design designed the decor of a new Italian address, the Lupetto restaurant.

It is in the district of the famous Flatiron Building, at the foot of the Townsend building built at the end of the 19th century, that the restaurant is located. Cub. Freshly opened, this new spot offers to taste Italian cuisine in a decor imagined by the interior architecture firm Parts and Labor Design. To develop this place steeped in history, the designer duo composed of Jeremy Levitt and Danu Kennedy first took care to highlight the original elements: the high ceilings, the large windows which bathe the place in light, and moldings. The duo also drew inspiration from nature and here deploys a chromatic range made of brown, green and ocher. The numerous wooden elements – fluted wall panels, wall lights, seats – sit alongside milk glass pendant lights, while the floor is strewn with terracotta tiles from the Italian company Fornace Brioni. A beautiful New York setting.
