ABU DHABI, 4th April, 2020 (WAM) — Abu Dhabi University and Sky News Arabia Academy signed a memorandum of understanding for joint cooperation in order to enhance the capabilities of students of the College of Arts and Sciences at the university and provide them with the comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary for excellence in the field of media, in a step aimed at preparing media talents and enabling them to deal with future media. The memorandum of understanding was signed by Prof. Ghassan Awad, Rector of Abu Dhabi University, Dr. Sreethi Nair, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University, and Nart Puran, Executive Director of Sky News Arabia Academy, in the presence of a number of senior officials from both parties.

Abu Dhabi University, through its cooperation with the Sky News Arabia Academy, seeks to enhance its study programs in the field of media by integrating the distinguished programs of the Academy in its university courses with the aim of improving students’ knowledge and refining their skills, thus enabling them to be creative and innovative, while the Academy will provide valuable opportunities for internal training and inform students of the College of Arts. And science at Abu Dhabi University is on the latest technologies in the field of distinguished media industry by inviting speakers from senior experts to hold discussions and dialogue sessions at the university, and organizing field trips for students to the modern facilities of the Academy.
