Partnership between Vivo and TikTok takes videos from the platform to television
Vivo’s platform Vivo Play, partnered with the TikTok Extra application that will allow users of the operator’s service to watch TikTok videos directly on television.
The Vivo Play initiative also brings more content and service options directly to the Vivo Play decoder, such as Terra Game On, Atma, Vivo T-Commerce, Clube de Revistas, Vivo App Store, Vivo Guru. Vivo’s initiative points to a model in which the operator places itself as a provider of digital services, offering customers services in addition to telecommunications.
“We are increasingly committed to always bringing the best entertainment content to our platform and consolidating ourselves as a digital hub, facilitating our customers’ access to services in different areas”, explains Dante Compagno, Vivo’s Marketing Director.

TikTok Extra offers this new experience so people can watch videos on television and have fun. together at home”, says Rafaela Furtado, Director of Strategic Partnerships for TikTok in Latin America.
The services
According to Vivo, the news will be available in the “Apps” tab, which brings together limited versions of the services, adding options for entertainment, information, well-being, games, among others, functioning as an invitation for the user to know the full version, downloading via QR Code.
With the Atma app! Monk Satyanãtha deals with topics such as “sleep better”, “improve self-esteem”, “control anxiety” and directs you to the App where you can experience guided meditations. There is content for adults and children.
With hundreds of digital titles, Clube de Revistas allows the customer to access the contents by QR Code, to be read by smartphone, and also offers hot news every day, for those who want to always be well-informed.
Terra Game On is the only service that brings all the portal content to the platform with a weekly update of the main trends aimed at the gamer audience, with interviews, reports and gameshow.
Vivo Guru brings a series of videos that help people use technology to their advantage, with tips ranging from how to install apps to how to make your home network work better.
Via the new apps tab, Vivo Play customers will still have access to Vivo T Commerce and the Vivo App Store – where they can browse the Vivo product catalog such as smartphones, plans and apps.
The operator says that this is a new way for Vivo customers to make their purchases in a 100% secure manner. In addition to making the apps available through the decoder, Vivo informs that the customer will receive recommendations on the main content and service launches on the Vivo Play interface.
