Temperatures continue to drop, becoming 4 to 6 degrees Celsius lower than their rates for this period of the year, as a result of the country being affected by an extension of an air depression accompanied by a cold and relatively humid air mass in all layers of the atmosphere.
And the General Directorate of Meteorology expected this morning that the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with an opportunity for light local rain to fall over separate areas, with the possibility of snow falling on high mountain heights, while it will be cold at night, warning of frost on mountain heights and some interior areas.
The winds will be westerly to northwesterly moderate, with active gusts, exceeding 60 kilometers per hour at times, especially over the central and southern regions, and the sea will be medium to light, waves high.
And the weather will continue tomorrow, partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with an opportunity for light local rains to fall over the Al-Jazeera region, and temperatures will remain below average with cold weather at night and active wind gusts exceeding 70 kilometers per hour at times, especially in the central, eastern and desert regions that lead to raising dust in those areas.
