End of the holidays at Airbnb. The home-sharing company said it has definitively banned the organization of parties in its apartments rented all over the world. This is a further tightening after the one that arrived about two years ago when the platform had introduced a temporary ban on organizing large parties due to the pandemic.

The temporary ban proved effective, the company said in a statement, adding that it will become part of our policy. The move comes after Airbnb banned “open invitation” parties advertised on social media in 2019. In 2020, the limit of 16 people and a temporary ban on “all parties and events were introduced“.
