As part of the implementation of the “University Shifts” project (hereinafter referred to as Shifts), a series of events was held on October 20 at the Ognikovo Park Hotel, bringing together representatives of the Youth Council of the Association for the Development of Teacher Education (ARPO), the Youth Council under the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and participants of the StateStart program. As part of the implementation of the project “The Core of Domestic Cinema for Family Education of Children and Youth,” a working meeting was held at which participants discussed the importance of cinema for the formation of moral guidelines and values in children.

At the end of the day, a round table was held as part of the project “Conversations about what is important at pedagogical universities.” The event was dedicated to the formation of important values in children, such as love for the Motherland, pride in their country, patriotism and historical education.
The main idea of the open lessons “Talking about important things” is love for Russia. This is how the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin commented on the main goal of the project. According to him, it is important to do this creatively, consider the historical component, traditions and present this topic as interesting and beautiful as possible. “Talking about important things” is the foundation for the formation of personality, laying the foundations for patriotism and love for the Motherland.
As part of the foresight session, the round table participants discussed different formats for “Conversations about What Matters” events and suggested topics for future meetings.
