SPORTLAND Lower Austria
AOn Wednesday, August 28, 2024, the “Regional Sports Day” will be held in Lanzenkirchen from 2 p.m. The Haderswörth Volunteer Fire Department has a diverse program with all regional sports clubs, several participating stations, as well as local qualifications from Austria like Marc Digruber (former World Cup skier), who available for games, autographs and photos.
Regional sports days to promote regional sports and exercise offers
In order to make the diverse sports and exercise offers in Lower Austria more visible, SPORTLAND Lower Austria will support several regional sports days in the future, where all clubs in a region will have a platform to present the offers to show off and get kids excited about sports. Eight regional sports days are initially planned for the coming months, which will be organized by cities together with sports clubs with the support of the state of Lower Austria.

The regional sports days were held throughout Lower Austria this year and last year. Twelve regional sports days have taken place so far. After successful events with around 500 visitors on average, the regional sports days have been successful again this year.
