Partenstein’s coach André Diehl described his team’s performance in the first half in the 2-2 draw against relegated Wolfsmünster as “unorganized chasing without structure”. The reason: because of verbal gaffes towards opposing players, two players from Partenstein saw a ten-minute penalty and a straight red after a few minutes. Wolfsmünster took advantage of this in the form of two goals, but still gave the win in the second half despite being outnumbered out of hand.

“We really wanted fourth place,” was Lukas Koenig’s explanation for the clear Ruppertshütten home win against Waldzell. The FCR board member also mentions the opponent’s problematic personnel situation and the early opening goal by Danny Lengler (7th) as a door opener for the 3-0 victory.
“Schaippach is enough for a strong 20 minutes in the first half,” said Andreas Ebert, reserve coach of FV Steinfeld/Hausen/Rohrbach, annoyed about the deserved 0:3 home defeat against Schaippach, in which three-packer Botan Hasan in particular warmed up for the relegation . Ebert also announced that he would hand over his position as head coach of the second team to his two coaching colleagues Benjamin Scheiner and Marcel Möhler in the 2023/24 season.
