According to Dura Vermeer, the company leading the project, very little can go wrong during the lifting of the bridge section. ‘In itself nothing can go wrong with the operation. Of course there are always things that can happen unexpectedly, for example time is a factor. But it is precisely because we are working on it with so many parts that it has been prepared very meticulously,’ explains project leader Erik Alink.
