Flight 1064 of the flag carrier, bound for Sheremetievo Airport, is scheduled to return with a new shipment of component 2 of Sputnik V for this Sunday at 22.
This morning, at 6:20 a.m., a shipment with 53 thousand doses of Sputnik V on an Air France company flight, and the second batch of 768 thousand Sinopharm vaccines is scheduled to arrive at 19:10, which are part of the agreement with China for a total of 24 million vaccines until September.
Regarding the arrival of the new doses of Sinopharm, which are part of the agreement that the national government signed with the China National Pharmaceutical Group Corp, Aerolineas Argentinas flight 1073 is expected to arrive this Friday afternoon. In this way, in the next ten days the scheme for receiving 8 million applications from that country will be completed.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign the Argentina received 27,668,730 doses, of which 11,318,830 correspond to Sputnik V, (9,375,670 of component 1 and 1,943,160 of component 2); 6.768.000 a Sinopharm; 580.000 a AstraZeneca-Covishield, 1,944,000 to AstraZeneca for the COVAX mechanism of the WHO, and 7,057,900 to those of AstraZeneca and Oxford whose active principle was produced in Argentina.
According to the Public Vaccination Monitor, as of this morning 27,466,544 doses of vaccines were distributed throughout the territory, while 24,048,381 were applied. Of this total, there are 19,162,483 people inoculated with the first dose, and 4,885,898 have the complete vaccination scheme.
