VAR cancels two Monza goals
During the first half, Parma was overwhelmed for long stretches by a Monza team galvanized by the change of technical leadership. The Brianza team, in fact, play with blood in their eyes, and in the first ten minutes the VAR intervenes to cancel two goals for the visiting team. The scores in the 4th and 9th minutes by Ciurria and Maldini respectively are not valid. Valenti decides in the 98th minute
Despite the man down and a lot of bad luck, the Monza’s stubbornness was rewarded in the end. In the 85th minute, in fact, the newcomers Martins and Pereira they build the equalizer: the 2005 born player provides a perfect assist to the Portuguese who scores the 1-1 from close range. The match now seems headed towards a draw, but at the last second Parma wins: from a corner, Valenti takes it with his head and makes it 2-1. The dukes are breathing, Monza increasingly last.
