Chancellor Aladdin Fouad announced Minister of Parliamentary AffairsThat the matter was presented to the Council of Ministers regarding the discussions that took place within the Plan and Budget Committee about amending the law granting facilities to Egyptians abroad, the Council of Ministers agreed that the period for importing the car would be five years instead of one year, and that the registration period would be 6 months instead of four months. .
This came during a meeting of the Parliament’s Plan and Budget Committee today, to discuss the law granting facilities to Egyptians abroad.
Representative Hisham Helal suggested in the draft law submitted that the car import period be one year, and the registration period to obtain it is four months. Discussions took place during the previous plan committee meeting, and a number of representatives suggested increasing the registration period to 6 months and the car import period to 5 years. The Minister of Parliament announced at the time that he would present the matter to the Council of Ministers for an opinion.
