Parliament will not be admitted without COVID documents

Deputies will not be able to attend the meeting without the necessary documents

The deputies adopted a resolution on additional measures to counter the spread of coronavirus.

The Verkhovna Rada, at an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday, November 2, adopted a resolution by 279 votes, according to which the entrance to the parliament building will be available only with COVID documents.

So, for the period of the quarantine, the people’s deputies, employees of the VR apparatus, assistant-consultants of the people’s deputies and other visitors, as well as media representatives will be able to get into parliament only if they have a document confirming the receipt of vaccination against COVID-19 with one or more doses of vaccines, if there is a negative PCR -test or certificate of recovery from COVID-19 (no more than 6 months before the presentation of the document).

On the eve of the Speaker of the Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk said that now seven are sick with coronavirus in the parliament people’s deputies and 21 staff members.

The Ministry of Health expects that the wave of coronavirus in Ukraine will decline within a couple of weeks.
