Athina Linou, who last week had asked to be represented by the former MP of Plefsis Eleftheria, expressed her withdrawal of confidence in Michalis Khourdakis through a letter to Kostas Tasoula.
Unrest prevails in the ranks of the independent MPs against the background of the eight letters (from Messrs. Salma, Linou, Khourdakis, Papaioannou and Dimitrokalis, Floros, Manousos and Saltogiannis) that had been forwarded to the Speaker of the Parliament to be represented by M. Khourdakis .
The former SYRIZA MP revised her opinion, as it seems that she had not realized that Mr. Khourdakis will have the right to vote at the Conference of Speakers of the Parliament for the formation of 3/5 in relation to the appointment of heads of independent Authorities.
It is recalled that last Thursday, during the meeting of the Conference of Presidents, tension prevailed between the president of the Parliament and Zoe Konstantopoulou, who accused him of “playing political tricks” with the former “Spartans” in order to change the head of the Advocate Citizen.

“Take appropriate action to have it cancelled”
The other independent member of parliament, Pavlos Sarakis, also sent a letter to Mr. Tasoula. The member of parliament who was elected with the Greek Solution is lying to the president of the Parliament because, as he notes, “I was never notified of a written invitation from the Presidium of the Parliament, in order to declare in writing the person I wish to represent me at the Conference of Presidents”.
Given this, Mr. Sarakis asks – among other things – from Mr. Tasoula to do the necessary “so that your decision on the appointment of Mr. Michael Khourdakis as the representative of the independent parliamentarians at the Conference of Presidents, as not legal form, and that the procedure be validly repeated, according to the provisions of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament”.
It is worth noting that a similar letter was forwarded at noon on Monday by the former MP of the “Spartans”, Haris Katsivardas, who in turn requests that the representation of the independent MPs by M. Khourdakis be cancelled.
In any case, in order to cancel the representation of the independent MPs by Mr. Khourdakis, one more MP out of the eight who sent a letter should withdraw his support and at the same time, eight new letters should be sent with the person who will assume his role representative to the Conference of Presidents. In the event of a tie, a draw will be held.
