Lok Sabha Security Breach: Security breach in Parliament (security breach in Parliament) Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar reprimanded Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha for protesting in the House on the demand of the opposition. On December 13, the entire opposition members protested in the House after the Speaker did not accept the notice to adjourn the scheduled business of the day to discuss the serious situation caused by the security breach in Parliament. It was alleged that AAP MP Raghav Chadha raised his hands and tried to disrupt law and order.
“If you want to say something, use your mouth, don’t gesture with your hands,” Dhankar countered with the gesture. Now is the time for you to learn a lot. Sit quietly in your seat,” Dhankar added. An hour before the Rajya Sabha Speaker scolded him, Raghav Chadha had supported the opposition MPs’ demands to discuss the Lok Sabha security lapse. “Are the opposition MPs asking for something illegal? Are they saying something wrong? All they are saying is to discuss the security breach in the nation’s most secure building. My opinion is that the government should accept their demand. It is not a matter of any particular party or politics but of the Parliament of India. If the Parliament is not safe then the country is not safe,” said AAP MP Raghav Chadha on the Parliament security breach incident.
As the protest continued, the Rajya Sabha suspended its proceedings till two o’clock. Before adjourning proceedings, Dhankhar had asked Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of the House Piyush Goyal and other floor leaders to meet him in his chamber. Meanwhile, a report came out that the planning for the Parliament attack took place in a WhatsApp group. The accused, who came together in the name of ‘Bhagat Singh Fan Club’, planned through a WhatsApp group. The group was started for those who expressed interest with an Instagram handle started as ‘Desbhakt88’. They used this Instagram account to recruit people for the project.
