After the case file drawn up by the European Public Prosecutor’s Office for the 717 contract, which on the one hand requested the investigation of Kostas Karamanlis for criminal infidelity and on the other hand was related to the case file of the appellant-investigator, a new case file reached the Parliament against the former Minister of Transport.
According to the information, the lawsuit – drafted by the lawyer Dimitrios Foufopoulos – was filed by the 27-year-old victim of the train accident, Anastasios Koumbouris, against K. Karamanlis, against all those responsible, members of the Board of Directors of Hellenic Train and the station master.
The 27-year-old accuses the offenses of attempted homicide with possible intent, disruption of traffic safety resulting in grievous bodily harm and grievous bodily harm, while in his lawsuit he reserves the right to request compensation, which means that he intends to file and treatment.
At the annual memorial service for the crime of Tempe, Mr. Koumbouris had stated:
