Parliament: ND satisfied with the PASOK election result – 2024-10-08 06:41:02

“Blue” MPs and members of the cabinet welcomed questions from parliamentary editors in the corridors of the Parliament regarding yesterday’s PASOK elections with wide smiles. Those addressed by documentonews.gr (and there were quite a few), expressed their satisfaction with the result of the ballot.

A featured minister was excited about Nikos Androulakis’s first election, explaining that it is “the best scenario” for the ND. He also argued that Anna Diamantopoulou would pose a greater danger to the “blue” faction, as she would court (at the risk of repatriating) centrist voters who supported Kyriakos Mitsotakis in the last two national elections.

Two ND MPs, one of whom has been a minister with a critical portfolio, jointly admitted that the politically dangerous person for the government was Pavlos Geroulanos. “Gerulanos would be a problem…”, was the typical saying that was uttered.

“Now we will say whatever we want about PASOK” said a member of the “blue” KO from Northern Greece, with another of his colleagues pointing out that Nikos Androulakis is a manageable opponent, whom the prime minister has won both at the level of national elections as well as European elections.

At the same time, they all described the fourth place he recorded in Attiki as a bad thing for Haris Doukas, explaining that he will have a political management problem in the Municipality. Of course, to the question of how the fourth in the internal party elections of PASOK in Attica managed to beat Kostas Bakoyannis, the ND parliamentary officials were unable to give a clear answer!

“Extensional” well

The prying journalistic eyes were attracted to the well formed in the funeral hall by Kostas Tasoula, Noti Mitarakis, Thanos Peiris, Stratos Simopoulos, Maki Voridis, Christos Boukoros, Dimitris Kouvelas, Miltos Chrysomallis, Giorgos Vrettakos, Sevi Voloudakis and Domna Michailidou, which felt a brief malaise in the Plenary during the consecration for the new parliamentary session.

When it came time to treat N. Mitarakis for his birthday, the well was occupied by the taxing of tips to the waiters. Several MPs were cautious in expressing their opposition, with their comments reflecting their pessimism about the measure’s performance. After the departure of several of the 11 who participated in the well, the discussion continued with a focus on the practices of the banks, which reached the ears of KO members with a great deal of dissatisfaction from their constituents.
