The unanimous lifting of her immunity was requested, in the Plenary Session of the Parliament, by Elena Akrita for the legal dispute he has with her Mareva Grabovski – Mitsotakis.

As she emphasizes in her post on Facebook: “In my 5-minute speech, I asked for the unanimous Waiver of my Immunity for my legal dispute with Mareva Grabovski-Mitsotakis regarding the 39 properties and the Pothen Esches of the prime ministerial couple. I didn’t even deal with Elia Zervos.”
Its placement in Parliament:
“For the case of Mrs. Marevas Grabovski-Mitsotakis’ lawsuit against me for defamation, allow me to point out some points.
One is that I was really very impressed by the fact that Mrs. Grabovski sued only me who reproduced the news and not those who published the news, namely the publishers of the publications Mr. V. Marinakis and M. Kottakis respectively. I think Ms. Grabowski should not be afraid, she should do the right thing, you can’t sue the reader and not the writer of a news story.
The second is that I was impressed, I admit, by the fact that Mr. Prime Minister had announced that he would come in person to testify against me as a prosecution witness. However, when I received the petition in my hands, I was informed that he will not come himself, but will send Mr. M. Voridis. I wonder why he fears a civilized confrontation in a courtroom?
I would urge Ms. Grabowski to re-introduce herself on certain terms, which she is clearly unaware of. One of them is the term sexism. There is not a single trace of sexism anywhere in my position. Sexism Mr. Grabowski is attacking a woman for her gender, for being a wife, for being a mother, for appearance, for age. When you’re talking about 39 properties, when you’re talking about the Prime Minister’s audience, when you’re talking about Voltaire’s house, that’s not sexism. It is the request and demand of the citizens to know the truth about Pothen and not only about him.
In closing, I would like to say that Mrs Grabowski will have to decide for herself one day whether she is a private person or a political person. If she is a private person, then the announcement that she will go to court against me should and should have been made by the law firm that represents her. In this particular case, however, the announcement was issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, on behalf of a private individual. How is this possible? I would like here to inform the Plenary and the House that I will file a lawsuit – which will not cost the Greek State a single euro, we will find a way – so that the Prime Minister’s Office will explain to us in what way, and with what audacity you allow to me – he answered on behalf of a private person, Mrs. Grabovski-Mitsotakis. So let them re-introduce themselves a bit with the terms, let them find them and we will see each other in court.
I have nothing more to add, all I would like to say are four words: Audacity breeds tyrants.
Sophocles’ Antigone, thank you.”
He had foretold it
In another post on Monday afternoon, she clarified her position saying that she does not hide behind immunities and honors the parliamentary office.
«Tomorrow at 12:00 in the Parliament the lifting of my immunity for the case with Mareva Grabovski-Mitsotaki will be discussed. Already, at the Ethics Committee, I asked for a unanimous vote on my request for removal, so that we can go to court. I will do the same tomorrow in the Plenary. Because I don’t hide behind immunities. Because I honor the parliamentary office. Because we are not all the same“, he had written.
