Another sharp Question was submitted by a member of the “blue” KO to a member of the cabinet, with Fotini Arabatzi highlighting through the parliamentary control the new arrhythmias OKAYwho – according to what he claims – paid 87,887,557 euros less for the direct aid of 2023.
“According to the Ministry’s announcement of 17/10/2024, €14,118,745.51 was credited as a liquidation of all direct aid, with the result that the total amount of payments for the year 2023, for pillar 1 (one) will rise to 1,799,054,359, 98 euros” notes the member of parliament who had voted against the bill for same-sex couples and adds:
“However, according to the latest, approved Strategic Plan, the country had, for the same year, direct aid in the amount of 1,886,941,917 euros”.
Under these circumstances, he asks Kostas Tsiaras:
1) How do you intend to handle the amount of 87,887,557 euros, which is missing in total from the direct aid envelope for the year 2023? Will there be another payment?
2) What will the upcoming payment of the advance be about and what will happen to the payments of past years?
As experienced parliamentarians commented in the corridors of the Parliament, this specific Question is part of the same context as the corresponding initiatives of the “11” or “8” for the “red” loans and the extension of the exemption of low-pensioners from pharmaceutical expenses respectively, as well as with the Question of Nikitas Kaklamanis on the energy exchange.
