GORINCHEM On Wednesday, November 22, there will be another Parkinson Café for Gorinchem and the surrounding area. The Parkinson Café is an accessible meeting place for people with Parkinson’s disease, their partners, family members, informal caregivers and interested parties. One topic is discussed at a time in a relaxed atmosphere. In addition to exchanging information and experiences, people can also make contact with fellow sufferers in the Parkinson Café.
This time the Café will be held in the Peeriscope theater in Gorinchem. Here Fred Delfgaauw plays the performance Broos. During the corona crisis, he worked in healthcare for a long time. He has incorporated his experiences into the performance Broos. Moving and humorous stories of residents, staff, volunteers and informal caregivers are brought to life.
Programme: 7.30 pm reception with coffee, tea, mini pastries; 8.30 pm performance by Fred Delfgaauw ‘Broos’; 9.45 pm Afternoon in the foyer with Meet and Greet Fred Delfgaauw.
You must register for this performance. This can be done until Tuesday, November 14, preferably via: info@parkinsoncafegorinchem.nl, or by telephone via number: 06-57288893 (Ine de Ruijter, occupational therapist at Mijzo, available from Monday to Thursday). The entrance fee is 5 euros.
