(NOTICIAS YA) .- Massachusetts woke up with significant snow accumulations throughout the state. Cleaning tasks and parking restrictions in some municipalities were reinforced.
In some localities like Boston, parking restrictions went into effect from a day before the storm.
Authorities recommended drivers to ensure clean snow off vehicles well before hitting the tracks to avoid accidents and possible fines.
“We ask residents to be aware that the snow on the roof, whether their car is big or small, is very dangerous, especially to cars coming behind. The weather is going to get colder and that is going to turn to ice, so the ice can hit the car behind. ” Said Fidel Maltez of the Chelsea Department of Public Works.
