Parking of cars on “Odrin” street in the section between “Ivan Vazov” and “Veliko Tarnovo” is prohibited from today, and the “blue zone” implemented in its western part is also canceled. This was announced by the municipal enterprise “Transport Organization and Control”.
Because of the breach under the Central Station, since July 9, two-way traffic was introduced along “Odrin” Street, which is, however, hampered by parked cars. There is nowhere for even fire engines to pass if necessary.
Therefore, road signs prohibiting parking were put up yesterday, but drivers were only warned. Sanctions will be imposed from today.
Holders of residence passes can use them for neighboring streets. The regional directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will assist in complying with the temporary organization.
It is expected that “Kavala” street will be opened for traffic from “Lyuben Karavelov” street on Monday, for which the necessary construction activities will be carried out tomorrow.
