The Consumer Protection Association Berlin / Brandenburg (VSVBB) has checked at which German airports parking is most expensive. Where does Dresden stand?
Dresden / Leipzig – “Good News” for the customers of the Saxon airports. The domestic airports are “winners” when comparing the parking costs at the 16 largest German airports. That was the opinion of the Consumer Protection Association Berlin / Brandenburg (VSVBB).
–
The analysis showed that if you park your car for a week at Dresden or Leipzig airports (in a parking lot no more than 750 meters from the respective main terminal), you can get a bargain for 15 euros.
For the money you don’t even get your car parked properly for an hour at Düsseldorf and Cologne / Bonn airports.
Short-term parking (“Kiss & Fly” parking) is also cheap in Saxony. In Dresden the hour costs four euros, in Leipzig three euros. Düsseldorf Airport charges the highest overall prices of all analyzed airports.

Parking there is free for ten minutes. Thereafter, five euros per five minutes are due (maximum parking time: 30 minutes). At least 79 euros have to be paid for a weekly parking space.
–
The survey clearly shows that it is worthwhile to reserve an airport parking space online in good time.
“At seven of the 16 airports analyzed, the difference between the cheapest and the most expensive weekly parking space is more than 100 euros,” said VSVB chairman Florian-Erik Eichhorn.
