After battling illness, the South Korean actress Park Ji-ah He died at the age of 52. Through a statement shared by her agency Billions, the artist who was part of the Netflix series The Glory -where she played Jung Mi Hee- died of a stroke.
“Billions will forever remember the passion for acting that Park Ji-a showed until the end. “We express our deepest condolences for his passing and pray for his rest in peace.”
Before participating in the Netflix series, Park Ji-ah He made his film debut with the film Coastline in 2002. However, he also participated in television and theater (Gidam, The Doctors y Suspicious Partner). One of his last appearances was in the film Wonderland which premiered in May of this year.
The wake of the famous South Korean actress took place in Room 2 of the Asan Medical Center, a renowned hospital in Seoul. His work in The Glory made it reach a large global audience due to the popularity of South Korean series on the platform.

The story of The Glory tells that many years after being mercilessly attacked at school, a woman launches a detailed plan of reckoning, seeking to make those responsible pay for what they did to her.
The plot tells that “in her high school days Moon Donge-eun dreamed of becoming an architect. However, after suffering a brutally violent attack by her bulliesis forced to leave school. Years later, her stalker is married and has a daughter who attends the same elementary school where she now works as a teacher.”
The second season of The glory ““continues the story of surveillance and stalking of the lives of Yeon-jin and her fellow perpetrators, showing how they fall into their own ‘hells’ so meticulously planned by Dong-eun, which will quench the protagonist’s thirst for revenge,” explains Netflix .
The main cast of the drama series consists of Song Hye-kyo as Moon Dong-eun and Lee Do-hyun (Hotel del Luna) as Joo Yeo-jeong as the protagonists. They are accompanied by Lim Ji-yeon as Park Yeon-jin, Yeom Hye-ran as Kang Hyeon-nam, Park Sung-hoon as Jeon Jae-joon and Jung Sung-il as Ha Do-yeong.
