The man rented out his rental home 329 times and received 198,000 euros for it. The lease stated that the man could not sublet the place without permission. On top of the amount he earned, there is an amount of 11,370 euros in rent arrears and 11,500 euros in repairs.

The owners of the apartment only found out in 2020 that their home was being rented out on Airbnb. Data they requested from the platform showed that the man had rented the place 1,114 days for an average of 178 euros per day. They themselves asked 1,380 euros per month.
