It is the day of the semi-finals for several Dutch people in Paris. The hockey players will try to follow the example of the men. Reigning Olympic champions Argentina will play in the semi-final at 2pm.

The program of the night will take place on the athletic track, where Nick Smidt and Lieke Klaver will be involved. Smidt wants to qualify for the final of the 400 meters hurdles at 7.35pm, just like Femke Bol.

At 8.45pm Klaver, who won gold in the 4×400 meters medley last weekend, will run her semi-final in the 400 metres.

And there will be more athletics this Wednesday. Maayke Tjin-A-Lim and Nadine Visser will run their first rounds in the 100 meter hurdles from 10.15am. An hour later, Mike Hoppen will enter the track in the first round of the 5,000 meters. Ryan Clarke will also start his competition in the first round of the 800 metres.

By then, golfer Anne van Dam has already advanced at Le Golf National for the first round of the women’s golf tournament. Van Dam starts at 9.11 am in the Olympic golf competition, where the Netherlands had a run like soap.
