However, at work, even more for a year, there is a chance that it is thanks to his services that you can exchange between colleagues despite the distance in this period of health crisis linked to Covid. “Sewan helps companies use the tools that allow them to communicate better together on a daily basis,” summarizes Cédric Rittié, product and marketing director.
This Parisian company, founded in 2007, offers professionals many services, divided into three main categories. “Communicate: by providing solutions for mobile telephony, landline or office applications such as Teams. Connect: by bringing fiber to businesses. Host: by storing our customers’ data, ”continues Cédric Rittié.
“When you create a company, whether there are 4 or 5 employees, you have to go to your fiber supplier, to the telephone operator, to acquire internal exchange tools… These are all appointments to be made. We bring all these small problems together in one contact ”, illustrates Marlène Delrue, administrative and financial director as well as HRD.
Double-digit growth since its creation
With this particular model: “Except for very large companies or the public service, Sewan does not sell its services directly, but goes through intermediaries located as close as possible to its end customers. This is a strong value, because it is not from Paris that we are going to tell a company in Angers how to operate. And even less varnish assist him quickly ”, supports Cédric Rittié.
Dozens of upcoming recruitments
For the past fourteen years, Sewan has only seen double-digit growth. The Covid accentuating the phenomenon. 132 million euros in turnover in 2020. 150 million expected this year. “We have never worked as much as during the first confinement, because companies were not ready for their employees to stay and work from home,” recalls Marlène Delrue.
The HRD is therefore not idle. Sewan had 40 employees in 2012, 140 in 2015, 580 today: “50 people have been recruited since the start of the year. 70 positions are still to be filled. »Developers, engineers specializing in telecoms but also staff for the support service. The majority in the discreet premises located in Cité Paradis, in the 10th arrondissement, where the company now occupies an entire building.
Already in three other countries in Europe
With 75,000 customers and 800,000 users, with small companies in its portfolio as well as behemoths such as Casino, Monoprix and BNP, Sewan therefore seems to have an unlimited appetite. The proof, in 2016, it began to cross the borders of France.
First by acquiring a company in Spain, then in Belgium and Germany. “Always small structures, making 2 to 5 million euros in turnover, with 10 to 20 employees, to copy the model that we have created in France”, underlines Cédric Rittié. Who sees more than Europe for Sewan. “The goal is clear. Establish ourselves in Asia and the United States, ”he assumes.
