The head coach of the Parisians, Luis Enrique, personally insisted on the transfer to the management, but Newcastle does not want to part with the player.
The 26-year-old signed a contract extension with Newcastle in October. The Brazilian’s new contract runs until the summer of 2028.
This season, Guimarães played 28 games, scored 1 goal and made 3 assists.
