Doha – QNB, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, and soccer stars from Paris Saint-Germain FC visited pediatric cancer patients at Sidra Medicine to support the fight against cancer.
During the visit, around 20 children met prominent Paris Saint-Germain players such as Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Presnel Quimpepe, Danilo Pereira and Idrissa Gui, where they took unforgettable photos and received special gifts such as signed PSG shirts and game vouchers.
Commenting on the visit, which was attended by a number of QNB management representatives, Ms. Heba Al-Tamimi, General Manager of QNB Group Communications, said: “We are delighted that the children have met the players of Paris Saint-Germain, who have come to spread joy among the church members. Cancer patients who really deserve our attention. Most of the kids were football fans and were really looking forward to seeing their favorite players and I’m glad we made that possible.”
She added: “We aim to continue to support such initiatives as part of QNB’s Corporate Social Responsibility activities, particularly in our collaboration with the Qatar Cancer Society.”
