The Spanish “Defensa Central” website revealed that Paris Saint-Germain presented a “seductive” new contract to French star Kylian Mbappe, to persuade him to stay with the Parisian club.
According to the site, the offer made by Saint-Germain officials includes a clause stating that Mbappe will stay with the team for ten years, in exchange for an amount of one billion euros.
Mbappe scored 212 goals in 260 matches, in addition to 98 assists as well.
The French star never won the European Champions League, despite winning the World Cup with France in 2018, and helping the “roosters” reach the final in 2022 in the Qatar World Cup.
Mbappe put his team under great pressure after announcing that he would not renew his contract in 2024, which means that Saint-Germain has two options, either sell him now and get a profitable return, or keep him for an additional season, and give him up for free in 2024.
