They also lost with a score of 0-1 away to the Dortmund headquarters in the first leg. Throughout both legs, PSG had plenty of chances to score goals.
Kylian Mbappe et al. recording 31 shots in the second leg, for a total of 45 shots over the two legs. However, in these two games, a total of six PSG chances were blocked by Dortmund’s goal posts.
“I am very satisfied (with the performance of the first half). Satisfied with what we saw in the first half, in general in both legs,” said Enrique on UEFA’s official website.
“They did what I asked. I liked the spirit they showed over the two legs. Of course there is still something that needs to be improved and that is our obsession next season.”
“If there is a regret, it is that luck was not on our side,” he said.
