Paris Saint-Germain, the French Football League title holder, announced the transfer of its Dutch midfielder, Jorginho Wijnaldum, to the Saudi agreement.
Wijnaldum, 32, joined the agreement, with a three-year contract, to play under coach Stephen Gerrard.
Wijnaldum moved to Saint-Germain in a free transfer, coming from Liverpool, England, in the “summer of 2021”, but he spent last season, on loan to Italian Roma.
A statement on Saint-Germain’s official website said: “Dutch international Georginho Wijnaldum joined the agreement with a final contract. The club wishes the player all the best for the rest of his career.”
Wijnaldum participated in 90 matches with the Netherlands national team, and became the latest bright name to join the Saudi League.
Wijnaldum is cooperating in the ranks of the agreement, with Jordan Henderson, his former colleague in Liverpool, and the former team captain, who joined the Saudi club last month.
