The Vélo Club de Roubaix Lille Métropole announces in a press release, this Friday noon, that it is giving up organizing the next Paris-Roubaix Espoirs, due to the health measures newly put in place to fight against the Covid-19 epidemic, although the decision was taken before the reconfinement in Hauts-de-France, announced this Thursday evening by the Prime Minister, Jean Castex.
The event was to be held on Sunday May 16. No postponement was considered. There will therefore be no Paris-Roubaix for the Espoirs in 2021. The race had already been canceled last year.
