Paris: PSG’s Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma’s house in Paris was robbed. The robbery took place with the actor and his partner Alessia Elefante tied up. The gang attacked both of them and looted valuables including gold jewelery worth five lakh Euros (Rs 4.56 Crores only) from the house.
A gang of gangsters reached Donnarumma’s flat in the capital’s 8th district on Thursday night. The gang entered by breaking the door and tied up the actor and his partner. Then the jewels and valuables in the house were stolen. Both were attacked. Donnarumma was injured in the attack.
After escaping from the clutches of the assailants, the duo sought refuge in a hotel adjacent to the flat around 3.20 am. The hotel staff immediately informed the police. Both were admitted to the hospital after being given first aid at the hotel.
The police reached the spot after getting the information, but the robbers had left the spot. The spokesperson of the Paris prosecutor said that a case has been registered and an investigation has been started. He said that the search for the accused has been intensified.
Gianluigi Donnarumma and Alessia Elefante fall in love in 2019. Alessia is an interior designer. Donnarumma was Italy’s hero in the 2020 Eurocup final with two crucial penalty saves. He was also selected as the player of the tournament. The former AC Milan goalkeeper will join PSG in 2021.
