Paris Summer Olympics organizers said the men’s 10km swimming marathon race will be held on time on Friday in the River Seine, after the river’s waters were deemed fit to host the race without risk any for the athletes.
The organizers of the competition and the International Aquatics Federation confirmed in a statement to Reuters that the water was suitable for holding the race today.
