The 42-year-old Hilton tells in the podcast how she and her husband Carter Reum ended up with the names of their child. The hotel heiress searched a map for a city whose name matched her own and she wanted to name the boy after her grandfather Barron.
“He was always my mentor and I really looked up to him. We were very close to each other and I miss him every day. That’s why I wanted to honor him by naming my first son after him.” She also wants to name her future children after world cities.
Hilton and Reum started an IVF procedure during the corona pandemic. Their child was born in January via a surrogate mother.
Phoenix Barron is not the first child for Hilton’s husband: he already has a daughter with reality star Laura Bellizzi. Hilton and Reum got married on November 11, 2021.
