Paris Hilton spoke to several employees in the White House on Wednesday about stricter legislation for boarding schools. Earlier in the day, the hotel heiress announced that as a teenager she was not only mentally and physically, but also sexually abused at a boarding school in the US state of Utah.
In a submitted piece in USA Today Hilton, who was sent to boarding school at 16 and stayed there for almost two years, tells us that girls at this Provo Canyon School were sometimes taken out of their beds in the middle of the night for intimate examinations.
“When we asked questions or protested about it, they said we had dreamed it. They urged us to stop making things up. But when I look back now as a grown woman on what happened, I can see what that happened. ‘investigations’ were real: child sexual abuse.”
Hilton released the documentary in 2020 This is Paris in which she first told about her experiences at boarding school for disadvantaged children. she says there lying to have been treated. She is said to have been beaten and locked up and forced to take medication, which made her feel numb.
Since the release of the documentary, more former students have reported similar experiences.
