Paris announced a month ago that she had become a mother, but then only shared a picture of a hand. The new photos, which have almost 2 million likes on Instagram in a short time, show, among other things, how she gives the boy a kiss and shows his face.

“I am so obsessed with my little angel,” says the American in the accompanying interview. “When he looks into my eyes, I melt. He is such a sweet baby.” Paris had the baby with her husband, venture capitalist Carter Reum (42), via a surrogate mother. On the advice of her friend Kim Kardashian, she started IVF treatment a few years ago, then because she wanted to have a child on her own.

Then Carter came into the picture, whom she has known for eighteen years, but with whom she only got into a relationship at the end of 2019. Paris was able to work less during corona time and decided to have embryos frozen. They have done that seven times, twenty have now been frozen. “I have all boys. I have twenty little boys,” says Hilton. The two are still continuing with the treatments, because Paris hopes to welcome a girl one day.

Hilton emphasizes that she would have used a surrogate mother if she were twenty years younger. In her reality show ‘The simple life’ she once saw a woman give birth and that gave her a ‘trauma’. She thinks it’s scary when it comes to her own body. “I want a family so badly, but it’s about that physical aspect. I’m just so scared…Giving birth and dying are the things that scare me the most in the world.” Paris was pregnant once in her early twenties and opted for an abortion at the time. “I didn’t want to talk about it because there was so much shame around it,” she says. “I was just a kid and I wasn’t ready.”

So now there is still a baby. Paris and Carter’s family didn’t learn about their son until just before the rest of the world. “My life is always so public, I really wanted to keep this private. Of course it was hard not to tell anyone because it’s such a beautiful time. But I also loved sharing this with Carter alone.” Their son’s full name is Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum and is named after a place, just like Paris itself.
