In lack of playing time at FC Metz, Marvin Gakpa could leave to look elsewhere. And it’s Paris FC who would like to position themselves for the French midfielder of Algerian and Ivorian origin.
Indeed, the club of the French capital, anxious to strengthen its midfielder, is considering recruiting Gakpa, used only 13 times in Ligue 1 this season.
The 2019-2020 fiscal year did not allow Gakpa to show its potential. Revealed during the 2017-2018 fiscal year with US Quevilly-Rouen (36 games, 9 goals, 4 assists), he was one of the key players in the Grenat squad during the 2018-2019 season where he was the second most used midfielder on his team. Gakpa had thus participated in 32 Ligue 2 games, for a total of 2 goals and 5 assists. But this season, he only played 464 minutes.
This season, it should be remembered, Paris FC finished 17th of French Ligue 2.
