Paris: A man who threatened to blow up the Iranian consulate was arrested – 2024-04-28 09:59:00

The French police were alerted at noon on Friday. According to what became known, a man entered the Iranian consulate located in Paris this morning.

A moment later he removed the coat he was wearing and a belt with an improvised explosive device was revealed. According to eyewitnesses, the man threatened to blow himself up to avenge his brother’s death.

Strong police forces immediately arrived at the scene and cordoned off the entire building block. At the same time, the services of Metro line 6 were also interrupted in a certain part of it.
