CONAKRY– The qualifying matches for the women’s football tournament of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, African zone, begin in the coming days. Guinea will face Ghana in a double confrontation in the first round. The first leg is scheduled for July 14, 2023 in Conakry. The match will be played at the General Lansana Conté stadium. Kick off: 4 p.m. UT.
Less than a week later, the Syli National Féminin U-23 will fly to Ghana where the return match will be held on July 18, 2023. If successful in the first round, the Guinean women’s team will face the winner of the Guinea Bissau – Benin match in the second round.
The qualification campaign will then continue with two other stages. The second round will take place from October 23 to 31, 2023 while the next round is scheduled for February 19 to 28, 2024. The fourth and final round will be played from April 1 to 9, 2024.
