The news fell on December 6, 2022. The Commission of the Organizing Committee of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games has decided to accept the candidacy of the Club de Tir de la Police de Côte-d’Or, with the support of the Departmental Council and the Departmental Shooting Committee of the Côte-d’Or, to welcome foreign Olympic delegations as part of the Olympic Games to be organized in France in 2024.
With this good news, we will increase our chances of introducing our shooting disciplines and entering, together with our Department, a new sporting dimension. The CTPCO – Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games Preparation Center is a great opportunity for everyone!
It is already planned that the French parachute shooting team will come to train at the Côte-d’Or police shooting club as soon as it is operational. In fact, development work is already underway, as well as the acquisition of electronic targets that allow athletes to train under the best conditions.
Furthermore, each of you, individuals and players in the socio-economic world, can contribute to this international event by becoming a partner of the CTPCO and taking up this formidable challenge with us, which will also participate in the development of our territory and its economy.
